Andrew Pfeifer is a Texas filmmaker, currently based in Los Angeles, Ca. He is a seasoned world traveler, having shot in over 30 countries. From the Arctic Circle, to remote villages in India, or the red-lands of Australia, he’s been there shooting films. He has a strong background in documentaries and outdoor/nature films.
Andrew was originally part of MEL Films, a tiny six person Emmy Nominated start-up, where he helped shoot and edit 50 short films in three years, some being featured on National Geographic, MSNBC's Meet the Press, The Atlantic (x22), VICE, Slate, and The Washington Post, amongst many others. Twenty of those MEL Films have played at numerous film festivals around the world including Tribeca, Cannes Film Festival, SXSW, DOC NYC, and Palm Springs International Film Fest, winning handfuls of awards along the way. Ten have received Vimeo Staff Picks.
